Overview:

Im a Frederick MD area Realtor and started in the real estate industry in 2002 at the age of 18 with Mackintosh Inc, REALTORS. I attribute my success to treating real estate like any other start up business. I had a business plan, a budget, clearly identified goals and I treated my self as an employ for the first few years.
 
I the 8 years I have been a Realtor I have meet and exceeded all of the goals I set when starting my business. I have sold over $150,000,000 in homes. I have averaged a home sold every week for the last 7 years.  I was named one of the top 30 Realtors in nation under 30 years of age by the National assoc of Realtors and Realtor magazine in 2008.  I have built a loyal and stable client base that provides me with regular referrals and most important to me I have built a reputation as an honest and hard working business person. 
 
I have also taken time to get involved with the Local, State and National associations. I have served on committees helping rookie Realtors, raising money for RPAC, rebuilding homes for the needy, raising money for orphan children, and helping to better communications for NAR to name a few.
 
My professional accomplishments have been recognized locally where I have received awards for merit and production as well as being featured in the Harold Mail, Frederick Gazette and Frederick News post many times. I have been recognized nationally on the front page of the New York Times, The Baltimore Sun and in Realtor Magazine. 
 
I pride my self on setting the high standards for my self and the real estate industry and living up to those goals. I hope to have made as much progress over the next 8 years as I have in the first 8 years of my career. 
Business accomplishments:
-Creation of The Muren Team. In 2004 Allie Ballew came to work with me allowing us to expand and grow. I now have a team of 4 consisting of Allie Ballew, Gavin Schaden, Heather Delauter and my self. This allows us to provide better more specialized services to our clients.  

- Named one of the top 30 Realtors in the nation under 30 years of age by the
National Association of Realtors and Realtor magazine in 2008. 

- Named the top selling team in the Frederick office of Mackintosh Inc. REALTORS in 2008 and have been one of the top producing teams in the Frederick area for 6 years straight.

- My unique approach to business and my success in the real estate industry have earned me feature articles on the front pages of the New York Times, The Baltimore Sun and The Martinsburg Journal. I have been featured in countless other articles in The Frederick News Post, The Frederick Gazette, The Frederick County Association of Realtors magazine, The Maryland Association of Realtors Magazine, The National Association of Realtors Magazine, and was recently featured in a book titled, (Thrive, How Realtors can Succeed in a Down Market).  

- In 2007 I pioneered a new way to buy and sell residential real estate by allowing people to buy and sell options on real estate the say way they would on stocks.

-Received the contract to be the exclusive marking agent and sellers reprehensive for Nexus Energy Homes in the Mid Maryland area including The Homes At North Pointe in Downtown Frederick, MD. The first “Net Zero” energy infill community in the nation.

I worked as a consultant as well as a buyers Representative for JR Owens Corporation. There are looking to expand their operations in Baltimore to Frederick. Land acquisition and Development.
 
- DR Horton:                                                                                        2003-2006
I worked as a seller’s representative and marketing partner for DR Horton for 4 of their new home communities representing more than 150 homes. In addition I worked hand in hand with their land acquisition department to identify new development sites. 

- Equity Homes:                                                                                    2004-2007
Again I worked as a seller’s representative and marketing partner for Equity Homes for 2 of their new home communities and 37 homes.

- Dan Ryan Builders:                                                                             2005-2007
I was a marketing partner for Dan Ryan Builders for 2 of their new home communities representing 30 homes.

- Richmond American Homes:                                                               2006-2007
I acted as a seller’s representative and marketing partner for Richmond American Homes in 1 of their new home communities representing 25 homes.

- N.A. Powel and Associates:                                                               2003-Present
Contracted to act as seller’s representative for numerous luxury homes and worked with N.A. Powel and Associates to find long term rental units.
